John does the lighting at the MAMA concerts. He's always ready and handy with his camera. Watch out and smile. He taught himself to play guitar, drums and electric bass. Some of his early influences/favorite groups/musicians include the Kingston Trio, Peter, Paul & Mary, The Beatles, The Eagles and Andrés Segovia. He is is now retired from the Department of Defense/U.S. Army Reserves. He moved to Colorado Springs in 1978 and has lived since 1992 in the Florissant area. He joined MAMA in the summer of 2001.
